Shuklafanta National Park

The National Park has the largest grassland in the Far Western Terai, and is home to Nepal’s, largest population of swamp deer (currently numbering around 2,000).


There various festivals held in far west Nepal. Among them are Gora, Dhikri, Maghi etc. You may witness one of them while you are here.

Suspension Bridge

Suspension bridge for pedestrians about 1,456 m long over Mahakali, Sharda River in the far west of Nepal. Considered the longest of its kind.

How To Get Here

From Kathmandu:

  • Via Air:
    An hours flight from Kathmandu will get you to Dhangadi which is at an hours drive (40 Km) from Mahendranagar where the Hotel is situated.
  • Via Road:
    Night coaches are available from Kathmandu which takes about 15 hours to get to the destination. Personal vehicles may take less time than public services.
